As I prepare for the Christmas festivities today and tomorrow, I thought that it would be lovely to work on Christmas all year long. Especially, I have never done Christmas cards, homemade treats, homemade gifts, and homemade decor and I would love to add these into our Christmas.
This year we did add a couple of fun traditions. Christmas Eve dinner consists of items fit for little children who do not like the traditional meal. We chose to have various cheeses, fruits, crackers and meats with fun carbonated drinks like Martinelli's. Christmas Day Breakfast now consists of various types of fruit waffles with choices in syrups and toppings. The girls also were able to ride on the Polar Express--something they just loved.
We also focused on gifts which make for fun together times--games, puzzles, legos, music, arts etc.
As a family, we have decided that next year we would like to go see Scrooge, stay in SLC to see the lights, and stay in Park City to go skiing. We would also like to supply toys and such for a family in need.
All this takes planning of course, and thus, this blog was made to help out.
